Description Adam Olsen 2001-04-08 18:28:25 UTC
Basically, it's not using a scheme that handles lack of memory properly (eg
temp file and move when done). My post to galeon-devel explains this in a
little more detail:

Yeah, you are right.
But I think it's not our fault. It's bug/limitation of gnome-config api.
Other gnome application does the same. Maybe this is fixed in gconf.
Also about bookmarks, it have to be a libxml problem I think, we are
only calling his save api.
Nate, how goes with the branch ?

(the last 3 lines aren't really relevent, but I included them for completeness)

I'm fairly certain this bug has been known for quite some time. Not
sure if anyone has particularly cared, since developers always point
you to GConf when you complain about gnome_config.

I think this won't be fixed for 1.4.x. Closing.
