Description Douglas Atique 2008-04-17 18:37:42 UTC
I am very used to the CDE dtfile file manager, where you can open a terminal in the directory shown by the Ctrl+T keyboard shortcut. However, this is the same combination as the "Move to trash" in Gnome. This caused me some inconveniences like deleting files when I thought about opening a terminal. Moreover, there must be a shortcut for opening a terminal from the file manager. I would really like the "Move to Trash" action to be linked to Delete shortcut. Delete and Shift+Delete are much more natural than Ctrl+T to delete something, IMHO.
At the very least, the "Open in Terminal" action should be affected by the Preferences | Appearance | editable shortcuts option, so that I could be able to assign these shortcuts myself.
