Please describe the problem:
Gimp for Windows gives an error on twain.exe when i scan a page with scanner Samsung Scx-4200 (multi function printer).
Preview of page is ok, but when i press the scan button the above problem arise and no page scan is done.
The printer hangs and it is necessary to reboot it.

the WIA drivers (WIA-Samsung SCX-4200  Series 1.0) works properly under GIMP, but not the driver "Samsung SCX-4200 Series 2.2" where i have the possibility to customize the scan process (contrast, brightness, zoom...). maybe an incompatibility between gimp and this driver.

The twain plug-in is unmaintained for some years now. Until we find a new maintainer it doesn't make sense to file bug reports about it.
