Description iyeru42 2008-04-07 13:13:06 UTC
Requesting that GIMP get the resolution (width x height) of a copied image (Like Paint.NET and Photoshop do.) It's annoying to have to type in the resolution manually. Although users can bypass this by selecting the image using the selection tool, and taking down the pixels (width x height) themselves, but that's tedious and won't always get the exact image's dimensions.

Just use Paste as New (Shift-Ctrl-N).
