Description Andrew Starr-Bochicchio 2008-04-07 04:51:51 UTC
Reported on Launchpad (https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/213176):

"Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

Description: Ubuntu hardy (development branch)
Release: 8.04

gnome-terminal:
  Installed: 2.22.0-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 2.22.0-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 2.22.0-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

To reproduce..
open a new terminal Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal
open 1 or more tabs (ctrl-shift-t)
Open the Tabs menu (alt-b)
Select Detach Tab

Expected to have the active tab detach into it's own window.
Instead, a new window having only the gnome-terminal menu bar appears.

No messages in .xsession-errors

Repeated and reproduced using a brand new user account as well."
