Description Matej Spiller-Muys 2008-03-29 09:34:48 UTC
C14n has now proposed recommendation status: http://www.w3.org/TR/xml-c14n11/.
Changes seems minimal in compare to 1.0 (only like xml:id and other minor things).

Apache xml security bug (RFE):

This kind of requests is best made on the mailing-list.
Please subscribe as ask there. Aleksey Sanin is the original
author of libxml2 c14n support (as well as xmlsec1) and I
think a member of the working group, he is definitely on the list
but don't watch bugzilla.
In a nutshell don't expect inpormations/changes merely because you
created that bug entry, go on the list and ask there,

Daniel
Comment 3 Matej Spiller-Muys 2008-04-01 05:02:29 UTC
I see. c14n was part of libxml2, that's why I reported it here.

I will contact Aleksey Sanin regarding this and I have already subscribed to mailing-list. But first I will try to get more info on changes inside c14n 1.1.
Comment 4 GNOME Infrastructure Team 2021-07-05 13:24:06 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libxml2/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
