GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 521096
Bring back UTC display.
Last modified: 2008-07-30 17:27:11 UTC
The old clock had the ability to display UTC in the panel without adjusting the system time. I'd like that back. :) I would typically have one clock set to local time and another to UTC to coordinate with people around the world.
Additional thoughts would be to don't show any weather for the UTC-Entry but a Globe or something similar instead. And of course no map entry therefore. Just to show the universal and international idea behind that time "zone"
/me misses the UTC display as well, so +1 for this RFE

Heh, just went a bit ranty in bug 522010 without noticing this bug is pretty much exactly what I want.
+1 for this!

Looks like there's a patch for that in bug 541145.
