Thanks Jon! You're awesome. I'll take a look.
Created attachment 105867 [details] [review] revision 1 This seems to solve it for me. Jon, how 'bout you? Thanks!
I just ran the regression tests. No regressions.
This patch does seem to work well when moving back. I did however notice that on slashdot.org moving forward does get stuck when you try to use this command from the top of the page.
There is something goofy going on with slashdot.org. The form controls we're moving to and getting hung up on aren't even visible -- but they are claiming to be. *sigh* Because this patch works well moving back (which is the only code that was changed; goNextObjectInOrder() wasn't touched), because it fixes a serious problem that Jon pointed out (thanks Jon!!), because it passes the pylint and regression tests, and because the 2.21.92 tarball is due tomorrow, I went ahead and checked this patch in. I opened bug 518521 for the slashdot issue. I'm moving this to pending. Let's open up new bugs for other issues.
Thanks Joanie, works great, sorry for the late response
Thanks Jon! And your response is not "late" so no need to apologize. If anything, I owe you an apology for my "last minute" approach to life. A little ADHD goes a long way I suppose. <grin> Closing this one as FIXED.
