At the moment, if you try to put the window list on a vertical panel, the behaviour is very odd. (for example, sometimes it attempts to squash the window buttons into two or more columns.)

The default behaviour for the window list when used in a vertical panel should be for the buttons to be held on one column, in their own rows (in direct complement to the behaviour for a horizontal panel, which is buttons held on one row, in their individual "columns").

(For ease of readability, the actual button/text should remain horizontal, by default. Possibly add options to enable vertically-oriented text?)

This would enable users with wide screens to have a vertical window list, which allows more space window buttons to be viewed.
