Description Joanmarie Diggs (IRC: joanie) 2008-02-19 03:14:34 UTC
From Steve on the Orca list:

I have another web address where Orca gets stuck a ways down the
page. I will paste in the URL below. First, go to this page and
start reading down the page line by line with the standard down arrow
key. You will hear the various FAQ questions on the page. When you
get to the answers portion, Orca "gets stuck" at a link just under the
heading level 2 line for Battery. It just says link each time the
down key is pressed. It appears as if you were at the bottom of the
page. Pressing tab simply takes you to the location box I don't
believe there are any more links on the page but if I use Gecko
control with insert-F12, I can alternate between down arrow press
with no speech and presses of read-line key from flat review and get
more text read.

This is the URL.

I am using latest SVN of Orca (2395) and the latest FF 3.

needed to make a tweak

In writing a regression test for this bug, I discovered that going down we were not getting stuck, but on occasion going up we still were. :-( This tweak to the original fix seems to solve the problem. Already pylinted, regression tested, and committed. I'm going to reopen the bug and put it back to pending for later re-verification by Mike.
