[ forwarded from http://bugs.debian.org/463263 by Dominique Brazziel ]

If working on debugging interactive event failures (browser plugin and streaming media happen sometimes) it would be useful to see the timing of informational/error messages.

This could help in looking at startup performance issues also.
Comment 2 Rune Svendsen 2009-12-09 18:43:30 UTC
I'm trying to solve a problem with gnome-panel loading very slowly, where I think timestamps in the .xsession-errors log file would be very useful as well.

Is the GDM categorization correct for this bug?
Comment 4 awilliam 2012-10-23 20:02:17 UTC
Can we bump the version? this is still true in 3.6.0.
Comment 5 Ray Strode [halfline] 2012-10-23 21:39:38 UTC
let's just dupe this with bug 676181 instead. Implementing it should fix this.
