Description Jos Herni 2008-02-16 11:37:07 UTC
I received a pdf were images where used with an extra layer (I guess). A picture is halfway covered with a red banner because this makes text better readable. When using Evince I can only see the red banner, not the picture behind it. When using XPDF of Acroread everything is normal so the red banner is transparant and shows the picture behind it. On Apple and Windows machines the pdf is like it shows itself in XPDF and Acroread.

From Acroread I can see the following information:

Application: Adobe InDesign CS3 (5.0.1.)
PDF Producer: Adobe PDF LIbrary 8.0
PDF version 1.4 (Acrobat 5.x)

Could you attach here the pdf document, please? It looks like a dupl of bug #476543.

Confirming the document does not render correctly with Poppler 0.6.4 and Evince trunk.

I've reopened the poppler bug:

Thanks for reporting.
