GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 513913
Opening or closing a node in the accounts tree crashes GC
Last modified: 2018-06-29 22:00:36 UTC
Since I have installed 2.2.3 very often when I try to open or close a branch in the accounts tree GnuCash crashes. With 2.2.1 which I had installed before, this did not happen. This currently prevents me from creating a new account because the crash also happens when I try to select the parent account. Error message on the command line: Backtrace: In unknown file: ?: 0* [gnc:txf-get-form ((N000 . #) (K35 . #) (K36 . #) (K39 . #) ...) N451] In /usr/share/gnucash/scm/txf-de_DE.scm: 21: 1* [gnc:txf-get-code-info ((N000 . #) (K35 . #) (K36 . #) ...) N451 ...] 42: 2 [vector-ref ... 42: 3* [cdr #f] /usr/share/gnucash/scm/txf-de_DE.scm:42:15: In procedure cdr in expression (cdr (assv code categories)): /usr/share/gnucash/scm/txf-de_DE.scm:42:15: Wrong type argument in position 1: #f
This obviously does not happen with every data file and probably concerns tax settings of yours. May you please provide us with a small test file or steps how to produce one, so that we can reproduce the crash? I also assume that you compiled with --enable-locale-specific-tax and are running gnucash in a german locale.
