Description David Hardstone 2008-01-28 22:35:23 UTC
Hi,
One thing I found handy when using KDE 4's KWin WM was that when you hold down the ALT button and drag the right mouse button, you can resize the currently active window. When you do this, the window manager drags the corner the mouse is closest to as you move it around.
Metacity has the Alt+Left Click feature which allows you to easily drag the window wherever the mouse is within it which is nice but I keep forgetting I can't right-click and I try doing it and it leads nowhere :)
It would be nice to have this feature in GNOME :)

Thanks for reading,
Dave.

Does alt-middle click do what you want?

Ooh thanks very much. Didn't notice that!
