[Based on http://bugs.debian.org/329032]

Gnumeric throws assertion failures for the document

(which is the "French-Power-Futures 2005" link on the data page
http://www.eex.com/en/Download/Market%20Data; md5sum is

	** (gnumeric:6397): CRITICAL **: ms_obj_read_biff8_obj: assertion `obj->excel_type >= 0 || record_type == GR_COMMON_OBJ_DATA' failed

Is there a problem with this file, or does this point to a limitation in
Gnumeric's xls import?

replicated.
Comment 2 Morten Welinder 2008-04-11 23:19:08 UTC
I cannot replicate. Perhaps sum1's bug barrage has caused this to be fixed.
Can either of you please retry?
Comment 3 Morten Welinder 2008-04-14 17:31:29 UTC
Document has changed. Not much we can do, then.
Comment 4 Morten Welinder 2009-01-15 01:22:29 UTC
We got the document offline. But now we read it right...
