GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 510257
Renames of signatures don't persist between session
Last modified: 2011-11-24 06:36:24 UTC
Renames of signatures are not kept after restarting Evolution. If I rename a signature by going to Editor Preferences | Signatures, clicking on Edit and changing the text in the Name field, my changes are accepted and used through out the session. However, after restarting Evolution (just the client, the background process keeps running, in case that matters), then the signature names are back to what they were before. Steps to reproduce: 1. Rename signature from "A" to "B" 2. Exit Evolution 3. Start Evolution and observe signature name Actual result: Signature name is "A" Expected result: Signature name is "B" Bug originally reported by Javier Kohen at http://bugs.debian.org/431460
I cann't reproduce the problem in Evolution 3.2.0 Can you please check again whether this issue still happens in Evolution 3.0.3 or 3.2.0 and update this report by adding a comment and changing the "Version" field? Thanks a lot.
Please feel free to reopen this bug if the problem still occurs with a newer version of Evolution.
