GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 51010
Script-Fu/Frosty -- output of early gimp-1.1.x versions looked better
Last modified: 2001-02-19 08:31:21 UTC
Today I've tried to made a frosty logo using gimp-1.2.1, comparing the new logos to older ones (made with gimp-1.1.x about a year ago ) I realized that the standard settings of script-fu create a really boring output. I've uploaded a logo made with gimp-1.2.1 and an older logo wich was created about a year ago with a gimp-1.1.x version at http://www.hehe.at/gimp/ to see the difference because it's not easy to describe it with words so I decided to upload the 2 logos :), and as I don't know how to manipulate the script in the right way I bother you ... sorry ;)
Thanks for the bug report, but that has already been mentioned in bug #15084. During the development of Gimp 1.1.x, the Sparkle plug-in was modified, and unfortunately it does not produce the same results as before. The Sparkle plug-in seems to have other problems with selections, so hopefully this will be fixed someday... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 15084 ***
