GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 509787
Filter process list
Last modified: 2013-08-01 19:25:12 UTC
It would be nice to have the ability to search for specific processes in the process list, like ps ux | grep foo The process list tab could add a search filter entry to the left of the "End Process" button.

That is a nice idea
The builtin search feature of the treeview is not enough ?
Eventually yes, but it does not allow to reduce the long list to just the processes you are interested in, for example all the *dbus* processes.

[Adding missing "QA Contact" entry so system monitor bug report changes can still be watched via the "Users to watch" list on https://bugzilla.gnome.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email when the assignee is changed to an individual.]
A searchbar has been added to the processlist, which can filter processes, so I am marking this as fixed. This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
