Description Michael Monreal 2008-01-15 17:57:13 UTC
I just upgraded my GNOME testing installation with the latest gnome-settings-manager and gnome-control-center. After a new login, I found my fonts to look a bit odd. The pt settings are still correct but the letters appear smaller.

Looks like there is some problem while applying DPI settings? When I go to Appearance->Fonts, changing the DPI setting there does NOT have any effect anymore.

Yes, the fonts somehow look different.
Comment 2 Cosimo Cecchi 2008-01-21 18:52:34 UTC
Confirming, happens here also. Modifying DPI and hinting settings in the Appearance capplet has no effect.
