GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 508770
Lack of context to translate
Last modified: 2010-05-19 08:24:34 UTC
Hi I need to know what goes after: #: ../mail/em-filter-i18n.h:38 msgid "is not set" and #: ../mail/em-filter-i18n.h:39 msgid "is set" since the next word could be either male or female in Spanish. Could you please add some context? Thanks.
i think there is no next word, either a value is set or it is not set (if i remember correctly the context of the strings)
Then the value can be either male or female, so I still need the context ;)

Bad, there is no support for translator comments in this file, it is generated from filtertypes.xml, vfoldertypes.xml, searchtypes.xml by a 'sed' command. Basically, when you go to mailer, open Edit->Search Folders->Add, then the text is used in the condition box, as the second combo, type of the comparision for the value. It is reused between more types (almost all), thus I guess you cannot do that for exact him or her. Is this explanation enough for you? Because I'm really not much able to do anything else with this, I'm afraid.
