Description sam tygier 2008-01-06 12:23:13 UTC
It would sometimes be very useful to delete the attachment from an email, but leave the email intact. This would allow me to remove many MB from my mailbox and keep it under my small quota. Currently I would have to delete the whole email.

It would be useful to be able to do this to a single email, or a selection of messages.

Even better would be an option to save the attachment to a folder, remove the attachment from the email, and add a link in the email to the saved attachment on disk. This way I could run the action on my whole inbox without worrying about loosing any data.

sorry for the dupe, "evolution delete attachments" and "evolution remove attachments" did not find the existing bug.
