Please describe the problem:
Sound Juicer 2.20.1 opens dialog, loads tracks, but pressing PLay gives error.

Reason: Internal GStreamer error: state change failed.  Please file a bug at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=GStreamer.

Gnome version not listed, but is 2.20.1,  Ubuntu build date 19/10/07


Steps to reproduce:
1. insert cd
2. Press Play
3. 


Actual results:

Music to play

Does this happen every time?

Other information:
In the Device Manager, now apparrently called "Hardware information, The sound card is detected an Ensoniq 5880 AudioPCI   Creative Sound blaster AudioPCI128.
Under the Device tab,  the Device Type is  Unkown, and the Capabilities are  Unknown
Guess it hasn't quite sorted the drivers out.  This is a new install of Ubuntu 7.10.  I am a Novice, though not IT illiterate, so it may be something left for me to do.

It's most likely a problem with your distro (no alsa default device, or no esd installed, or os), but also bad error reporting on GStreamer's side. This is fixed in CVS.  Go to System => Preferences => Sound  and try the different music output options.
