Description astozzia 2007-12-27 17:43:00 UTC
i ha dthe following problem with the system sounds. there are no sounds. When I tested the sound in System>preferences>hardware>sound, I got:

audiotestsrc wave=sine freq=512 ! audioconvert ! audioresample ! gconfaudiosink profile=music: Internal GStreamer error: state change failed
Comment 1 Tim-Philipp Müller 2008-01-10 15:40:38 UTC
This is most likely a configuration problem (the error message is just very bad and not the proper one that you should be seeing).

Go to System => Preferences => Sound and choose a different sound output method.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.
