Please describe the problem:
nautilus closes when right clicking on a file icon and choosing properties and goes back to the window of the folder opened. This happens with pdf, jpg, mp3 files ....etc...

Steps to reproduce:
1. Doing the same operation.

Which distribution are you using? Are you really using Nautilus 2.1? That version is 5 years old...if that's the case, please update your distribution in order to get a newer full GNOME platform.

I'm using nautilus 2.18.3 and gnome 2.20.2 with Debian testing.

This bug is a known bug in the Debian packages for Nautilus, you may want to check for software upgrades soon.

I've got nautilus 2.20 yesterday and the bug has been fixed. 
Everything works fine now.
