Description jarlathreidy 2007-12-19 15:17:40 UTC
The ability to bookmark video and audio files, including the time into the file that they were marked would be a great enhancement.

Use Case 1:

Joe has watched 41 minutes of a movie and decides that he will leave the remainder for another time.

Later, when resuming the movie, he has to scan through the film as he is unsure where he had left off.

Use Case 2:

Sue has been watching a movie when she receives an email from her friend containing a video clip. Sue wants to watch the clip before continuing the movie. When the clip loads in totem, she loses her place in the movie and has to search through again as she doesn't know at what point in the movie she left off.

Example:

This feature is currently available in the Exaile audio player if anyone would like to see for themselves the behaviour and benifits.

Regards,
Jarlath
