Description Reggie Chan 2007-12-14 17:40:05 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open empty spreadsheet
2. Merge A1:B1
3. Set cell comment at A1 as "anything"
4. Copy A1:B1
5. Paste at D1

Expected result:
D1:E1 becomes merged, and comment shows at merged cell D1 as "anything"

Actual result:
D1 and E1 are NOT merged, but the comment shows correctly on screen. The comment's ObjectBound in exported gnumeric xml is also shown correctly as D1:E1.

Trivial tweak. merges and styles are content too

Minor patch to avoid triggering the singleton object case in a situation where there was no content in the cells of the cr, but there are merges or styles.
Comment 2 Jody Goldberg 2007-12-15 09:17:11 UTC
The patch would work for 1.6 if desired.

Additionally the range in the xml output is also correct now. It should not have been the merged region, only the top left corner. This was fixed in ##503392.
