If NetworkManager is running, but current network connection is started manually for one of the connection types not supported by NM (like dial-up, UMTS, ...), Audioscrobbler does not send track information.

All other network related functionality seem to work properly. At least it should try once or give some sort of feedback on why it's not submitting data :)
