GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 502018
Sessions Preferences section is outdated in the manual
Last modified: 2009-06-15 03:04:15 UTC
Section 8.5.2.1 mentions several dialog elements not found anymore in Gnome 2.20.1: * Show splash screen on login * Prompt on logout * Automatically save changes to session - should be 'Automatically remember running applications when logging out' * The whole 'Sessions' area of the dialog is missing Page affected: http://library.gnome.org/users/user-guide/stable/prefs-sessions.html.en

This patch leaves in the section on the Current Session tab. I don't see this tab any more. Should this section be axed?
Yes, it should
Created attachment 132161 [details] [review] removes Current Session deprecated information This patch applies the previously made changes in the original patch, and removes the "Current Session" information that is no longer applicable
The Session Preferences tool is covered in sufficient depth in the "Desktop Sessions" section of the userguide (gosstartsession.xml, specifically user-guide.xml#gosstartsession-2). Can we just remove this section altogether and update any links?
