Description HNEE 2007-12-03 07:10:10 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Seems to be related to the version of PDF creator. See the pdf file at:

http://www.iau.dtu.dk/~jj/pubs/logic.pdf

it will print to page 2 and stops. Print Preview also fails. xpdf works fine.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the file from here http://www.iau.dtu.dk/~jj/pubs/logic.pdf
2. Select print
3. Select Print Preview
Move forward to page 3 on preview screen

Actual results:
The printer reports error and resets the link. Cannot print pass page 2. Printer is HP Laserjet 3055 multi-function with build in network capability.
Then I discover that xpdf can print the entire document

Expected results:
The entire document should print from page 1 to page 20. And Preview should see page 1 to page 20.

Does this happen every time?
Yes, it happens every time.

Other information:
I believe the pdf is create with Adobe Distiller 3.01. You can see it from file property of the PDF file

Comment 2 Alexander Hunziker 2007-12-04 16:33:11 UTC
I have another file that triggers this bug. It stops printing on page 8, where there are some illustrations. Maybe these trigger the bug?
Comment 3 Pacho Ramos 2008-01-08 19:20:28 UTC

Comment 5 Alexander Hunziker 2008-10-23 08:12:41 UTC
I tried again. Under Ubuntu Intrepid, I can successfully print the file I had attached to this bug. Can other please check as well whether it's fixed for them?
Comment 6 Pacho Ramos 2008-10-23 17:35:33 UTC
My problems were fixed with poppler-0.8*
Comment 7 Pacho Ramos 2009-01-20 19:54:27 UTC
HNEE , What about your problems? This think that this bug is no longer valid with recent poppler versions
