Description Josselin Mouette 2007-11-28 11:27:59 UTC
For some changes we have made to gnome-session (namely, spawn gnome-settings-daemon by hand instead of using dbus), it is required to have the path of the settings daemon in the pkg-config file.

Even if you disagree with the gnome-session changes (I'll open a separate bug for them), please accept this change, which is harmless.

Comment 2 Rodrigo Moya 2007-11-29 11:19:21 UTC
What do you need this for? Not that I don't like it, in fact the patch looks good, but would like to know what you want it for
Comment 3 Josselin Mouette 2007-11-29 11:29:09 UTC
It is required by the patch we apply to gnome-session, described in bug#500216.
Comment 4 Rodrigo Moya 2007-11-29 13:25:54 UTC
Then commit when the gnome-session patch gets in
Comment 5 Jens Granseuer 2007-12-06 22:04:28 UTC
Hm, Rodrigo, you've got a strange definition of "now" ;-)
Comment 6 Jens Granseuer 2008-03-13 21:12:39 UTC
What's up with this?
Comment 7 Josselin Mouette 2008-03-14 08:50:36 UTC
Vuntz says he has a better version of the patch for gnome-session, but I guess he hasn’t committed it yet.
Comment 8 Jens Granseuer 2008-05-06 16:41:12 UTC
This is now obsolete with the new gnome-session working with standard autostart desktop files.
