Please describe the problem:
Clicking on a date in the clock applet opens the evolution
calendar on the day before the one you clicked.

Yes

Other information:
I think I got this idea from the ubuntoo people.  If you append the
time-of-day for noon ('T120000') to the date, evolution then gets the
date right.

I will attach a one-line patch.

That's not the right fix. See bug 372155.
