Description Andrew Morton 2007-11-12 06:54:31 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1. wget http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff67/flink-gto/wet-sanding/pdoor.jpg?t=1194850136

2. gimp 'pdoor.jpg\?t=1194850136'
3. Watch your machine swap itself to death.

I don't know how far it would have gone - I killed it after maybe 4GB. That image is only 115 kbytes.

It seems that all jpegs which come out of my Olympus E510 will trigger this bug.

I spose I should upgrade gimp, but gimp-2.2.15-3.fc5 is the latest which RH
have for this FC5 machine. (It's x86_64, 64-bit kernel).

Bug in libexif and Olympus MakerNotes.. sadly there isn't a released libexif with the fix yet.
