Description Steve Rainwater 2007-11-11 22:22:00 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Evolution creates a directory called .#evolution in the mail store for some sort of internal use. When using maildir format, the .#evolution directory is in the visible folder list show to the user. It contains no mail and can be deleted from the Evolution user interface but will return each time the program is started.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start evolution, create new account with server type set to maildir
2. create a folder or two, then exit evolution
3. restart evolution and folder named .#evolution is present

Actual results:
I can see a mail folder named .#evolution

Expected results:
The .#evolution directory does not represent a mail folder but some type of internal data store. It should not be visible to the user.

Does this happen every time?
yes
