Description Ilmari Vacklin 2007-10-24 20:11:37 UTC
Creatin a smart bookmark is hard and unintuitive (%s? What's that?). As an alternative, copying what Opera does might be a good idea. When you right click an <input> field, present a dialog that lets you name the smart bookmark, and optionally show the resulting URI, where %s is automatically placed in the query string. (Opera shows this under an "Advanced >" area, which is hidden by default, and only shows the bookmark/search name and shortcut key.)

I just noticed that Firefox also has this nowadays, so maybe we could steal it from them, if it's in Gecko.
