I just confirmed my comments in bug 487664 - In a message with several JPEG attachments, if I select "view inline" for one picture and quickly try to get the menu for the next picture (before the first picture appears), I can consistently crash Evolution.  It seems that the pictures need to be large enough to take time to open.  I tried the same thing with some smaller pictures and I couldn't recreate the problem.  The killer pictures are about 840K.  My system has a Pentium 4, 1.7 GHz, 1 GB RAM.
