What were you doing when the application crashed?
I had just left the email preferences window. I have set to check for email every 3 minutes, but I am "unable to connect to server" -- "Network is unreachable." On clicking out of one such error message, another immediately popped up (probably backed up while I was editing preferences) -- perhaps the backup of two error messages was the trigger.
