GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 48083
have a keyboard key to toggle the open in new window preference
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
This is the equivelent of option-click on the Macintosh. You can primarily use the interface in one mode of new window or always in the same window, but by holding down some special key it will do the other behavior when you click on an icon. I am giving this to arlo, to decide if it should be there and what key to use. ------- Additional Comments From arlo@workthatmouse.com 2001-05-13 20:29:23 ---- Alt would be great. ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-09-09 21:18 ------- The original reporter (rslomkow@eazel.com) of this bug does not have an account here. This seems like a usability issue. But in 2.1.2 this doesn't seem possibile. I tried all combination with CTRL/SHIFT/ALT.
