Description Calum Benson 2007-09-25 14:22:35 UTC
I'm wondering if it might be nice to bind Shift-Alt-F10 to this function by default... it's quite a useful thing to have a shortcut for (more useful than maximize horizontally, judging by the number of people who've asked me how you do it over the years), and it follows the HIG recommendation of using Shift to 'extend or reverse' an existing shortcut (Alt+F10).

We should probably fix it first (see bug 468075). :-)

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/metacity/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
