GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 47955
No indication given of files that are cut or copied (to the clipboard)
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
An indication of which files are currently cut or copied should be shown. In Windows Explorer this is only done for files that are cut. Then the icons are shown "lighter" (like they are shown in Nautilus when hoovering over a icon). The implementation there is bad because the same effect is used for hidden files (not in the original Windows 95 I believe). My personal suggestion is that you use Nautilus emblems, which would fit nicely in the Nautilus UI IMHO. As icons the same ones as shown in the edit menu should probably be used (there aren't any yet though ;) ). ------- Additional Comments From darin@bentspoon.com 2001-04-02 10:09:32 ---- *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 47948 *** ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-09-09 21:19 -------
