Description dann 2001-09-10 01:31:34 UTC
If I select a directory right click on it, select "Show properties" and the
Permissions

I can change the permissions there.
But there's nothing that says that the permissions are changed only for the
directory, or recursively.

If the permissions are changed only for that directory, fine, but there should
be a way to do it recursively, and it's best if it's in the same dialog.
Yes, it's very useful to be able to change permissions recursively, and a
pretty common operation too.

------- Additional Comments From snickell@stanford.edu 2001-07-23 00:38:45 ----

Taking bugs previously assigned to Pavel, assigning them to myself. Will parse
them out at my leisure , but many are GnomeVFS bugs we should look at for 2.0

Changing to "old" target milestone for all bugs laying around with no milestone set.
Comment 2 Andrew Sobala 2002-06-06 23:23:27 UTC
I don't think there's a fix yet. Marking GNOME2.
