Error Loading or Saving Configuration Information

Please describe the problem: When I click the gnucash.exe to execute the gconftool.exe execute & the normal splash screen does not apper but the error message apper that error in loading or saving the configuration file. The operating system is windows vista 32 bit with all the artition having NTFS file system. Steps to reproduce: 1. Click the GNUCash.exe from the program menu. 2. The gnome-conf tool.exe shell will come fist & wait for some time the error dialoge box will appear. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Ferquently. Other information: When I click the detail button of the error dialog box I got these details Adding client to server's list failed, CORBA error: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0 Adding client to server's list failed, CORBA error: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0 Adding client to server's list failed, CORBA error: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0 Adding client to server's list failed, CORBA error: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0 Adding client to server's list failed, CORBA error: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0

I was receiving the same error with the base install of GnuCash 2.2.1 on Windows XP 2002 SP2. Replacing the ORBit2 DLLs with version 2.13.3 (as the wiki suggests) worked for me.
The problem has been solved using the Orbit2 2.13.3 DLLs on Windows Vista Home premium 32 bit (as the wiki suggests) and its working fine.
