Additional reproduction notes: I was in the CC: edit box, and had typed in a name that matched multiple people, and accidentally selected the wrong one. When I backspaced away the incorrect name, the application froze and bug-buddy started (not sure, but it seems likely the crash was immediate, and the frozen state was from bug-buddy starting.)
