Description Gene Z. Ragan 2001-09-10 01:13:16 UTC
Select one of the Lay Out Items items in the context menu. Notice that the image
of the menu will persist in the icon container unil after the layout is
completed and a redraw has occured. We need to figure out a way to get the icon
container to redraw after them menu is dismissed but before the layout task
happens. Maybe we can send ourselves an idle event before laying out again.

I'm not sure that Gene's theory about why the menu image is left behind is
correct.

Hmm, I don't see this on mine. Maybe some other factor is involved?

------- Additional Comments From sullivan@eazel.com 2001-03-09 17:10:22 ----

High time estimate since I can't reproduce it.

I don't understand what's being described. Can someone give more-exact
steps to reproduce?

I can't duplicate this. Dave, if you can, and can explain what it is,
please reopen. Thanks.
