Description Sílvia Miranda 2007-09-10 12:13:22 UTC
Please describe the problem:
We found a confusing string while translating Brasero into Catalan:

 #: ../src/brasero-data-disc.c:8035
msgid "loading project"

Does this mean that the project is being loaded? Or is it "cut up" and should be part of a sentence saying, e.g., "error loading project". They are translated differently in each case, so we should know what it means exactly.

It would be very useful if programmers included comments in the .po files specifying when a string is only part of a sentence... (that has been cut up)

Steps to reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual results:
The string is confusing

Expected results:
There should be a comment specifying whether it is a broken string, or the first letter should be capitalised.

Does this happen every time?

The string is not cut up. It appears when there is an error because the user tried to do some operations (renaming/deleting/...) while brasero is loading project.
So that string is the cause/reason of the failure.
I hope that helps.
I'll add a comment for translators. Thanks for your work btw.

Do you think I can close the bug ?
