GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 471582
printing report reverses type
Last modified: 2018-06-29 21:47:29 UTC
Please describe the problem: 1. Thanks downloaded windows version 2.2.1 with UK VAT accounts. 2. Set up basic company accounts. 3. Screen reports OK in preview. 4. Screen reports OK when exported as HTML and printed from web page. 5. Reports sent to print button or printer , print *very* slowly and also have type reversed and upside down on page order .i.e.exactly as a compositor of lead type would see page when setting in a lead a page typesetter. Readable by looking through the paper against a strong light and reading from bottom to top. (I used to set type in hand press so it seemed odd until I realised what was wrong). Steps to reproduce: 1. By doing same sequence or generating any report. Easiest with report equity 2. Press print button or print in menu. Actual results: 3. page prints as 'typeset' reverse. Expected results: 4.page print as normal type page. Does this happen every time? 5. Yes. I did three set ups from fresh downloads and error repeats. Other information: 6. Set up: Athlon CPU, HP motherboard cica 2000, windows XP pro (fully patched) OKI B4600 printer (both Windows and postscript drivers installed , makes no difference which is used). Could not check in Linux Ubunto 7.04,as there my GnuCash is older version. If UK VAT and Windows available then this would make a much easier transfer to Linux from Windows as lack of decent Linux UK VAT accounts program hinders Linux being used by small businesses. I persevere to try to transfer . Thanks in advance
