can you confirm if you have the right permissions to burn media or any other instance of wodim/cdrecord isn't running ?

The submitter claims that gnomebaker runs fine on the same machine (looks like I missed to copy that part of the bug report).

A bit of update. Today I finally managed to record a CD-RW but this was after I realized CD isn't working. After restarting HAL the CD was recorded but right afterwards when I tried burning a DVD, brasero said no disk is in drive. I restarted HAL to no avail. I then did the same operation in Gnomebaker and everything went smoothly.
I'm not sure how to narrow the cause, but since I'm running Debian lenny, it could itself be the cause for the troubles. However, it does not explain, why Gnomebaker works normally all along.

Hope this helps a bit further if at all.

Weird. Now it's working without problems. I have not made any changes to the system except for the usual OS updates.
Comment 5 Luis Medinas 2007-09-06 23:47:00 UTC
Closing it doesn't seemed a brasero problem.
Thanks
