Description jdldec 2007-08-22 19:59:08 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When I save my gnumeric spreadsheet in excel-format (xls), I seem to lose all my comments I've put into cells.

I only notice this, when I re-open the xls-file.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a gnumeric-file, add some comments to cells
2. Save the file as an Excel-file (xls). Close gnumeric.
3. Open the xls-file with gnumeric.

Actual results:
I lose the comments once i re-open te xls-file.

Expected results:
I would like to not to lose those comments if I export a gnumeric to an xls.

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
Most likely there are settings in my gnumeric that don't support excel-conversion from gnumeric? Anyone has (had) the same problem? Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks!
