GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 469148
1) Find and remove duplicates in selected folder, 2) paste unique
Last modified: 2013-09-13 00:53:00 UTC
After many system upgrades and hardware changes since year 1992 and VAX, I have about 11.000 archived emails (and 35.000 in spam folder) in 65 sub-subfolders. There are at least a few hundred duplicates somewhere in the folders that I want to remove. There is no "find and remove duplicates in current folder" feature in Evolution. Another good enhancement to Evolution would be "paste unique", where I could select multiple messages and drop them in another folder, and then Evolution would only drop the unique ones (i.e. not create duplicates).
