Description Kenny Graunke 2001-09-10 01:00:45 UTC
With some background patterns, nautilus will incorrectly determine the text
color to use for icons. For example, these images make nautilus display white
text on a mostly light background:

http://www.eavel.com/~kenny/Nautilus/Bugs/white-text/bug_pattern.png
http://www.eavel.com/~kenny/Nautilus/Bugs/white-text/light_pattern.png

Both of these - especially the latter - clearly should use black text. I can
reproduce this every time with these images.

I set these (one or the other, obviously) as the background_tile_image for the
<directory> section in one of my nautilus themes. I imagine setting these via
the GUI or as the desktop background would have the same effect, although I have
not tried.
