GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 46821
Nautilus incorrectly determines icon text color with some background patterns
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
With some background patterns, nautilus will incorrectly determine the text color to use for icons. For example, these images make nautilus display white text on a mostly light background: http://www.eavel.com/~kenny/Nautilus/Bugs/white-text/bug_pattern.png http://www.eavel.com/~kenny/Nautilus/Bugs/white-text/light_pattern.png Both of these - especially the latter - clearly should use black text. I can reproduce this every time with these images. I set these (one or the other, obviously) as the background_tile_image for the <directory> section in one of my nautilus themes. I imagine setting these via the GUI or as the desktop background would have the same effect, although I have not tried. ------- Additional Comments From darin@bentspoon.com 2001-02-21 09:25:42 ---- *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 46816 *** ------- Additional Comments From brett@eazel.com 2001-02-21 22:26:47 ---- verified as duplicate ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-09-09 21:00 -------
