What were you doing when the application crashed? Ran /usr/bin/gimmie ("test command" button from X Hotkey). Got what looked like the OS X dock at the bottom of my screen. Tried 2 or 3 times to close it by right-clicking on parts of it. The little header that pops up is visible for both Linux and Library. The Linux one was popped up when the Library one was right-clicked on.
